The Bonfante & Chiarle Collection

Luciano and Giorgio Chiarle, together with Domenico Bonfante, created today’s Bonfante & Chiarle firm, following the winemaking tradition of their fathers and grandfathers before them. Today, Bonfante & Chiarle is one of the top wine producers in Monferrato, using environmentally-friendly methods to create superb wines. Giorgio Chiarle grew the business by offering wine door to door in conjunction with milk and cheese, an innovative business model at the time. Today Giorgio’s guiding winemaking principles combines with young wine maker Massimo’s innovations create wine that is “piu elegante.”

Barbaresco DOCG Molinaia

Considered one of the greatest wines of Piedmont, like Barolo. The aging in oak barrels makes it drinkable relatively young, while enhancing its evolutionary potential. The result is a wine with a great body and a solid structure, rich, harmonious, and elegant.

Barbera d’Asti DOCG Due Lilu

Barbera d’Asti Due Lilu brings out the best of this classic fruit of the Piedmontese wine growing tradition. Produced from vineyards located in the sloping area south of the region, on the hills with the best exposure, situated at mid-hill. The soil is compact and rich in marl and limestone clays.

Barolo DOCG Bisù

Barolo is the wine that, more than any other, expresses the oenological quality of Piedmont and its most representative and important grape: Nebbiolo. The particular winemaking style makes it drinkable relatively young: the result is a full-bodied and well-structured wine, rich, full and mellow.

Gavi DOCG Piasì

The name of this wine derives from the Piedmontese dialect and it means “pleasure”. This Gavi comes from Monferrato, made by vinifying Cortese grapes of ancient origin. The aroma is characteristic and the mouth is pleasantly dry, fresh and tart, and harmonious.

Langhe DOC Nebbiolo Lauré

It is a wine produced in the Langhe, on the right side of the Tanaro River, from vineyards located at an altitude of 300m above sea level. The soil is mainly calcareous and clayey. It is a classic expression of Nebbiolo: aged in oak barrels, it stands out for its structure, the richness of perfumes and great elegance.

Langhe DOC Arneis Bataja

This wine stands out for its freshness and particular flavor, typical of the grape of origin. Before the process of fermentation, the freshly pressed grapes undergo a delicate cold maceration to enhance the aromas in the must. The result is a wine of great character and personality.

Langhe DOC Rosato Reusa

This Langhe DOC rosé is a sharp and balanced blend of Barbera and Nebbiolo grapes, undergoing only a few hours of maceration on the skins to give the must an attractive onion skin color. In the mouth the wine is fresh, mineral, rich and pleasant.
