The De’Ricci Collection

Situated in Palazzo Ricci at the heart of Montepulciano, the historic De’Ricci winery is now owned by the Trabalzini family. The wine is born on vineyards located in the hills on the western and southern slopes of Montepulciano. The Ricci palace and cellar are a daily destination for many visitors coming from all over the world.

Soraldo Vino Nobile di Montepulciano

A robust and fruity wine harvested from the Toscana region

  • 100% Sangiovese

  • Grapes are partially pressed, then vinified in steel vats at a controlled temperature with maceration on the skins that lasts a maximum of 30 days.

  • The wine is aged in tonneaux and large 20-25 hl barrels for approx. 24 months, and then continue for at least 12 months in the bottle.

Vino Nobile di Montepulciano

A wine with a sweetly fruity aromatic texture and light salty and spicy touches. It develops in the mouth complete and articulated, crunchy and broad, fresh and full of chiaroscuro.

  • Sangiovese 100%

  • Partial crushing of the berries, fermentation in stainless steal vats in low controlled temperature and maceration for about 25 days

  • 18 months in barrels (tonneaux and big barrels) followed by one year in bottle

Rosso di Montepulciano DOC

Embroidered in the aromas on nuances of raspberries and wild strawberries, with some spicy hints, the Rosso di Montepulciano has a tendentially sweet gustatory imprint, light tannins and a rare flavor, for a greedy and immediately pleasant sip

  • Sangiovese - Merlot in a small percentage

  • Partial crushing of the berries, fermentation in stainless steal vats in low controlled temperature and maceration for about 18 days

  • Few moths in French barrels followed by few months in bottle

Il Vignone IGT Toscana

A wine of overall completeness made of aromatic and gustatory finesse, sip size and blend balance.

  • Merlot 60% – Cabernet S. 30% – Petit Verdot 10%

  • Destemming, partial crushing, placing in separated stainless steal tanks for fermentation at a low controlled temperature and maceration for about 18 days.

  • In tonneaux and barrique 12 months followed by at least 6 months in cement once the blend has been made. Minimum 6 months stay in bottle

Il Severo IGT Toscana

IL SEVERO was born from an intuition: to represent a vintage by interpreting it at its maximum expression among the grapes present in the company with the exception of Sangiovese.

  • Different every year choosing between: Merlot - Cabernet S. - Petit Verdot - Syrah 2019 - Merlot

  • Partial crushing of the berries, fermentation in wooden vats in low controlled temperature and maceration for about 40 days

  • Tonneaux, barrels and barrique for at least 24 months depending on the variety of the year

Sansy IGT Toscana Rosato

Usually we talk about the austerity and strength of Sangiovese, however this grape can also have a gentle and delicate soul. SanSy represents this type of Sangiovese and its freshest expression.

  • Sangiovese – Syrah

  • Destemming/two hours of maceration inside the press

  • 3 months in french tonneaux of second and third passage followed by minimum 6 months in bottle
